The Local (part one) – the first fruits of our enduring association with Rajiv and Khushboo. The original brief was to create an ambience reminiscent of Irish style family pub. We spun this around and came up with the idea of a nostalgic, eclectic, Cantonment Bangalore theme. 

The bar, the focal feature on entry, is backed by a customised Atangudi tile expanse. This pallet trickles through all the floors of the building.

Seating arrangements in the main semi covered area are akin to school refectory style seating albeit, more comfortable. The open garden area is laid out so that customers can make the most of the famed ‘Bangalore weather’ amidst the typical garden plants found in local home gardens – banana, pomegranate and bougainvillea.
